# 8.3 Contribution Score | A Record of Ecosystem Contribution

Contribution Score (CS) is a metric used to record and evaluate activities that create value for the SyFu ecosystem.

Trust Rank represents trust and usage status based on your activity history in SyFu. Contribution Score, on the other hand, records the Contribution you build through eligible programs and activities.

### The Role of Contribution Score

Contribution Score is one of the criteria used to determine future SFT allocations.

Specific details such as the SFT allocation method, amount, and timing are not determined automatically by this Score alone. Further details will be announced once they are determined.

### How Contribution Score Is Added

The eligible activities, requirements, rates, and applicable periods for Contribution Score are defined by the official rules of each program.

For EVT Lock, Contribution Score is recorded based on the eligible program, the amount of EVT Locked, and the selected term.
