# 1.3 When BNB Is Needed and How to Prepare It

BNB is a crypto asset used on BNB Chain.

In SyFu, BNB is mainly needed when purchasing MANEKINEKO or NFT items on the SyFu Marketplace, or when performing certain asset transfers.

This page explains when BNB is needed and the basic flow for preparing it.

### 1. Main situations where BNB is needed

The main situations where BNB is needed in SyFu are below.

#### When purchasing on the SyFu Marketplace

BNB is needed when purchasing MANEKINEKO or NFT items with BNB on the SyFu Marketplace.

Marketplace payments use the BNB balance in the Spending Wallet inside the SyFu app.

Listing or selling on the SyFu Marketplace itself does not require gas fees.

#### When performing certain asset transfers

For certain NFT or token transfers, BNB is needed as gas fees or transaction fees.

For example, when sending or receiving assets with an external wallet, or moving assets between wallets, BNB may be required depending on the operation.

### 2. Basic flow for preparing BNB

When using BNB payment on the SyFu Marketplace, the basic flow is as follows.

1. Prepare BNB through an exchange or other service
2. Send BNB to your SyFu Wallet on BNB Chain（BSC）
3. Move BNB from your SyFu Wallet to your Spending Wallet
4. Confirm your BNB balance in the Spending Wallet
5. Purchase on the SyFu Marketplace

Marketplace payments use BNB in the Spending Wallet.

When sending BNB from an external wallet or exchange, always check the supported chain.

The BNB used in SyFu is BNB on BNB Chain（BSC）.

### 3. Move BNB from SyFu Wallet to Spending Wallet

When using BNB payment on the SyFu Marketplace, move BNB to your Spending Wallet.

The basic flow is as follows.

1. Open the SyFu app
2. Open the SyFu Wallet screen
3. Tap “Send”
4. Select “Send to Spending”
5. Select “BNB” as the crypto asset
6. Enter the amount you want to send
7. Confirm the details and send
8. Confirm that BNB has been reflected in your Spending Wallet

### 4. Purchase on the SyFu Marketplace

Once BNB has been reflected in your Spending Wallet, you can purchase on the SyFu Marketplace.

On the SyFu Marketplace, you can purchase MANEKINEKO and NFT items.

Purchased MANEKINEKO and NFT items will be reflected in the game.

### 5. Notes

When preparing BNB, please keep the following in mind.

* Always check the destination address
* The supported chain is BNB Chain（BSC）
* Sending assets on the wrong chain may result in loss of assets
* If this is your first transfer, we recommend testing with a small amount first
* Follow the instructions of the external wallet or exchange you use
* The price of BNB fluctuates
* Prepare only the amount you need for the intended operation, with some buffer
