3.1 Automatic Import
In SyFu, you become eligible for rewards when the following sequence is met: Check-in → Payment → (Statement) Import → BIND There are two import methods: automatic integration and manual upload.
Supported Regions and Integration Methods
Japan: Integration with Money Forward ME (credit cards only)
Global: Open banking APIs (credit/debit supported) Supported countries & financial institutions: https://syfu.io/payment_providers
How to Set Up Automatic Payment Data Import
Securely connect your everyday credit/debit cards to SyFu via Open Banking APIs.
Once connected, your daily spending is automatically reflected in SyFu and directly contributes to your GameFi progress and rewards. (Some financial institutions may require manual updates.)
By linking the cards you use most through Open Banking APIs, you’re turning everyday shopping into in-game power.
🔒 Security & Privacy (Important)
SyFu uses bank-grade Open Banking infrastructure
Your login credentials and card numbers are never stored by SyFu
Connections are read-only — SyFu cannot initiate or execute payments
You can disconnect at any time from within the app
💡 This system is already in live operation across more than 50 countries worldwide.

1. Start the connection from the menu
Select “Payment Data Integration” from the menu.
2. Select a financial institution
Choose your country/region, then select your bank or card issuer. ※ Financial institutions not shown are currently unsupported.
3. Complete secure authentication
An external official authentication page will open.
Log in using your financial institution’s ID/password and authorize data sharing with SyFu.
※ Authentication information is never stored by SyFu.
4. Select the card to use
After linking, a list of cards/accounts associated with that institution will appear.
Select the card you want to use in the game to complete the setup.
Data Update Timing (Important)
After linking, data updates fall into one of two patterns depending on the financial institution: automatic or manual. If manual updates are required, a refresh button will appear in Payment Data History.

Update Type
Description
Automatic
No action needed. New payment data is imported automatically on a regular basis.
Manual
Updates are required. Tap the [Refresh] button in Menu > Payment Data History to fetch the latest data.
⚠️ Important Notes
Due to card issuer processing rules, it may take approximately 3–5 business days for transactions to appear after payment. This delay is normal and not a system error.
Even if transaction details arrive late, BIND remains valid for same-day payments made after check-in. ※ Payments dated earlier than the check-in day are not eligible.
Rules for Linking Financial Institutions & Cards
Basic Rules
You can link up to one financial institution.
From the linked institution, you may select multiple cards.
💡 By subscribing to SyFu Pass Standard, you can:
Link up to three financial institutions, and
Unlock additional benefits that expand your GameFi experience
Card Linking Restrictions
Sub-cards are not allowed Sub-cards linked to a primary card—such as family cards or business cards—cannot be used.
Multiple users for cards linked to the same account are prohibited Cards that are debited from the same underlying account may not be used by multiple individuals (e.g., family cards).
Automatic data import is limited to one financial institution per account ※ Except for users subscribed to SyFu Pass Standard.
Switching Financial Institutions
If you wish to change the currently linked financial institution, you must first disconnect the existing institution and then wait 24 hours before linking a new financial institution.
Initial Integration and Retrieval Scope of Card History
The first linked card will retrieve payment data for the past 1 month.
If you switch cards, the system will retrieve data from the date of switch onward.
The previous card will reflect data up to the switch date and then stop.
Example:
Card A selected on Sept 18 → retrieves payment data from Aug 18 to Sep 18
Card B selected on Sept 20 → starts retrieving from Sep 20 onward (Card A ends at Sept 20)
App Update Timing (Auto Import Visibility)
Payment data is updated in the app at the following trigger points:
Once daily at 1:00 AM UTC (minimum 1 auto-update)
When the BIND screen or payment history screen is opened, and 3+ hours have passed since last fetch
Tip The system updates at most once every 3 hours, but update frequency may be restricted depending on the financial institution.
Switching Between Automatic ⇄ Manual Import
To switch from automatic → manual, please disconnect the payment data integration service. You can then proceed with manual uploads.
Note: Once switched from automatic to manual, card payment data will no longer be auto-imported.
Cooldown Period (Re-linking Restriction)
If you perform manual upload after disabling auto import, a 30-day cooldown is applied before reactivating auto import.
If you disable auto import but do NOT perform a manual upload, you can immediately re-enable automatic import.
Auto → Manual
30-day auto reactivation lock
Immediate reactivation possible
💡 Note Once switched to manual import, card payment data will no longer be auto-imported. To return to auto, please ensure you follow the 30-day rule and re-link accordingly.
Common Pitfalls (and Fixes)
"Same-day" – what does it mean? If payment and check-in are on the same calendar date, even if the payment arrives later, BIND is valid. Crossing dates makes it invalid.
Online/App-only payments? Generally not eligible (SyFu prioritizes real-world visit proof). See 3.4 BIND Rules for more.
Different store names shown The name on the statement may differ from the real store. As long as it's a real in-store payment, it is valid (see 3.6 Troubleshooting / FAQ).
