0.4 Your First Few Days|From Check-in to BIND
After getting MANEKINEKO, the next step is to connect your everyday payment activity to the SyFu game experience.
This page explains the flow from your first Check-in to BIND.
Payment data import methods differ depending on your country, financial institution, and card.
Before starting, check whether automatic import is available for your country, financial institution, and card. If it is not available, use manual import according to the rules.
Check supported countries, financial institutions, and cards
1. After getting MANEKINEKO
After getting MANEKINEKO, start using SyFu with the following flow.
Choose how to import payment data
Check in at a store
Pay with a supported card
Wait for payment data to become available
BIND your Check-in information with your payment data
Once this flow is complete, your everyday payment activity can connect to MANEKINEKO growth and reward experiences.
2. Choose how to import payment data
SyFu supports two payment data import methods.
Automatic import
Manual import
The method you can use depends on your country, financial institution, and card.
If your country, financial institution, and card are supported, automatic import is usually the easiest way to use SyFu continuously.
If automatic import is not available for your country, financial institution, or card, use manual import according to the payment data import rules.
3. Set up automatic import
Automatic import allows SyFu to retrieve supported payment data through available payment data connections.
Automatic import flow

Open the SyFu app
Go to payment data connection settings
Select your supported financial institution or connection method
Complete authentication through the connection flow
Select the card or account you want to use
Complete the connection
Supported card types and financial institutions may differ depending on your country and connection method.
Some financial institutions may require manual refreshes even after connection.
4. Use manual import when needed
If automatic import is not available, manual import may be used.
Manual import allows you to register payment data by submitting payment statement information according to the rules.
Manual import flow
Pay at a store
Prepare the required payment statement information
Register the payment data through the manual import flow
Wait until the imported payment data becomes available
BIND it with your Check-in information
Manual import has its own rules and conditions.
Before using manual import, make sure to check the payment data import rules.
5. Check in at a store
Check-in records that you actually visited a store.
By visiting an eligible store and checking in through the app, later payment data can become eligible for BIND.
Check-in flow

Open the SyFu app
Tap the Check-in button
Search for nearby stores
Select the store you are visiting
Confirm Check-in
Only stores within approximately 300 meters of your current location are shown during Check-in.
If a store does not appear, it is not eligible for SyFu Check-in.
Main cases where Check-in may not be available
Check-in may not be available in the following cases.
The store does not appear in the store search
Your current location cannot be detected correctly due to GPS accuracy issues
If the store does not appear, try moving slightly, checking your GPS settings, or trying again later.
If it still does not appear, the store may not be eligible for Check-in.
6. Pay with a supported card
After Check-in, pay with a supported card.
For automatic import, use the card or account connected in the SyFu app.
For manual import, make sure the payment can be registered according to the manual import rules.
Payment support may differ by country, card type, financial institution, and connection method.
7. Wait for payment data to become available
Payment data is not always reflected immediately after payment.
Reflection timing may vary depending on the card issuer, financial institution, country, connection method, and import method.
It is normal if you cannot BIND immediately after payment.
Once the relevant payment data appears in the app, proceed to BIND.
8. BIND your payment data
BIND is the process of linking your Check-in information with your payment data.
By completing BIND, your everyday payment activity is reflected in the game.
Basic BIND flow

Check in at an eligible store
Pay with a supported card
Wait for payment data to become available
Select the relevant Check-in information and payment data
Complete BIND
9. What happens after BIND
After BIND, MANEKINEKO receives experience points(EXP).
If the required conditions are met, BIND can also connect to Econ(in-game token)or EVT(utility token)reward experiences.
The content you can receive is shown by the color of the mari ball displayed in the app.
White mari ball: Experience points(EXP)
Blue mari ball: Econ(in-game token)+ Experience points(EXP)
Gold mari ball: EVT(utility token)+ Experience points(EXP)
MANEKINEKO growth stages
MANEKINEKO grows by earning experience points(EXP)through BIND and leveling up.
The first stage is Pod.
Pod: Initial stage. Earns experience points(EXP)
Mini(Lv3〜): Econ(in-game token)or EVT(utility token)earning can be selected
Prime(Lv10): Breed is unlocked
EVT earning has conditions.
For detailed growth stages and earning conditions, see the page below.

10. Common issues
I cannot BIND right after payment
Payment data may not be available immediately after payment.
Reflection timing depends on your card issuer, financial institution, country, connection method, and import method.
It is normal if you cannot BIND immediately after payment.
The store does not appear
Only stores within approximately 300 meters of your current location are shown during Check-in.
If a store does not appear, it is not eligible for SyFu Check-in.
GPS accuracy may also affect whether your current location is detected correctly.
I paid with a card that is not connected or supported
For automatic import, payment data must come from a connected and supported card or account.
For manual import, the payment must satisfy the manual import rules.
I forgot to Check in
BIND requires both Check-in information and payment data.
When using an eligible store, check in before or during your visit so the later payment data can be linked.
11. Rules to check before proceeding
Check-in and BIND have rules for eligible payments, non-eligible payments, and actions that may be considered fraudulent use.
If you proceed without understanding the rules, you may be unable to BIND, become ineligible for rewards, or be subject to penalties.
Before your first BIND, check the following two sections.
This section explains the basic rules for importing payment data into SyFu.
It is especially useful for checking the following topics.
Which payment data is eligible
Types of payments or cards that are often non-eligible
Differences between automatic import and manual import
Important points when changing the import method
Cases that may be judged as fraudulent data registration
This section explains cases where Check-in and BIND succeed, as well as common failure cases.
