# 4.4 Fraudulent Use & Penalties (Important)

* Using cards for **chargebacks or cash-out abuse** is a violation of card issuer rules.
* If fraud is detected, penalties may include:
  * **Account ban**
  * **Asset freeze or confiscation**
  * **Withdrawal restrictions**
  * **Claims for damages**

⚠️ Fraudulent acquisition of points or rewards may be considered **criminal fraud** under law.
