# 4.2 Common Failure Cases

* **Payment made before check-in (manual import)**\
  → If the check-in timestamp is later than the payment timestamp, BIND is invalid.
* **Merchant name omitted**\
  → Some issuers (e.g., certain AMEX or QuickPay) may show only generic terms like “SHOP.” → Not valid.
* **Using receipts or invoices**\
  → Not accepted as proof. Only official **card statements** are valid.
